Nancy Kelso is an LPC who counsels from a Christian perspective, is rooted in the Word of God and depends on Christ’s wisdom to empower and guide the therapy process.

She enjoys working with adults, couples, adolescents and children on a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, women’s concerns, marriage and family relationships, life transitions, anger management, addictions, codependency and trauma recovery.

Nancy understands from personal experience that life can bring brokenness and loss in many ways. She is passionate about walking with people through their journey of recovery to wholeness and fulfillment. “No matter the depth of your pain or difficulty of your challenges, God loves you and wants you experience His peace, stability and healing. I understand that the process of therapy requires courage, and I consider it a joy and privilege to support you as you seek out positive change.”

Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree in design communication from Texas A&M University and her master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas. She received Bible training through the International Bible Training Center of Charis Bible College.

While in graduate school, she worked with adults, couples, teens and children in individual therapy and facilitated Intensive Outpatient (IOP) substance abuse groups at Behavioral Health and Family Services. She interned at Sundance Hospital, a psychiatric and substance abuse treatment facility, where she facilitated inpatient mental health groups for adults and teens. At Integrated Psychotherapeutic Services, she conducted individual therapy sessions and led IOP groups for men and women struggling with dual diagnosis (mental health plus substance abuse).
